L’équipe d’économie de la santé du Laboratoire d’Economie de Dijon organise, les 28 et 29 mai 2020 à Dijon, l'”European Conference on the Diffusion of Genomic Medicine: Health Economics & Policy”.
Cette équipe fait partie du projet H2020 “Solve-RD – Solving the unsolved rare diseases” financé par la Commission Européenne (http://solve-rd.eu/). Ce projet a pour objectif d’améliorer le diagnostic des patients atteints de maladies rares grâce au développement de la médecine génomique. Elle fait partie du groupe de travail qui cible le transfert de la recherche au patient. La contribution de l’équipe est d’interroger les défis méthodologiques liés à l’évaluation et à la mesure de l’impact de la médecine génomique.
Cette conférence de deux jours alternera sessions plénières et sessions thématiques parallèles et réunira des chercheurs en sciences humaines, principalement en économie de la santé, mais aussi des chercheurs d’autres disciplines. Elle contribuera au développement de la recherche en médecine génomique quant à son évaluation, sa diffusion et les politiques publiques qui accompagnent cette nouvelle médecine.
Il a été décidé d’inclure cette conférence dans la politique de développement durable de l’Université de Bourgogne en en faisant la première conférence éco-responsable de l’université.

The Health Economics Team of the Economics Laboratory of Dijon organize the “European Conference on the Diffusion of Genomic Medicine: Health Economics & Policy” on May 28th and 29th, 2020, in Dijon.
This team is part of the H2020 project “Solve-RD – Solving the unsolved rare diseases” funded by the European Commission (http://solve-rd.eu/). The purpose of this project is to improve the diagnosis of patients with rare diseases through the development of genomic medicine. It is part of the task force which targets the translation of research to the patient. The contribution of the team is to query the methodological challenges of evaluating and measuring the impact of genomic medicine.
This two-day conference will alternate plenary sessions and parallel thematic sessions and will bring together researchers in the human sciences, mainly in health economics, but also researchers from other disciplines. It will contribute to the development of research in genomic medicine concerning its evaluation, its dissemination and the public policies accompanying this new patient care.
It has been decided to include this conference in the University of Burgundy’s sustainable development policy by making it the first eco-friendly conference of the university.
